I received quite a lot of footage for this one, and at first, I wondered what the hell to do with it all. But something clearly stood out, and that was the troubles and successes of surface fishing. For those who don’t know fishing, surface fishing is where your aim is to get a fish to take the bait from the surface of the water (most fishing is done well under the surface, or even on the lake bed), a great tactic as fish regular look for insects to snap off the surface. But, the bird wildlife very well know about this and surface fishing can become a nightmare if the bird life find out your throwing out floating bait.

All anglers relate to this problem, and most have a tale or too about surface fishing. So my aim with this video was to build up tension, add a comedy element of problems, and then the success of keep trying and you’ll get your rewards. The result turned out pretty well, and comments on Facebook went through the roof as many anglers related to the frustration.
