Logo Design

Telescope Studios was taken over by another company and they began a restructure, and as part of this, a new look. (The blue Telescope Studios is the old logo).
A team of designers were brought together to take on the brief and come up with new ideas to give the company a fresh new look whilst giving confidence to our current clients that everything is in good hands under new ownership.
We were all tasked to come up with lots of ideas so that we could select the best to develop further. Left is a range of first ideas that I brought to the table, mainly concentrating on the logo’s look disregarding colour choice at this time.

Unfortunately, right at the end of the design stages my designed logo’s didn’t become the final choice to run with. Because of my previous design experience and strong developing qualities, I was chosen to develop the logo further, before becoming the final logo used to represent the company.

There were further tweaks to the logo before getting to the final complete logo below. Things like fonts size, Icon size were changed and the icon re-drawn to have smooth almost symmetrical appearance. Colours were debated heavily as these colours really didn’t seem to work together, but was a key part of the original brief. But we found a nice trade off by keeping the main colours separated by white. Simply having the white between made these colours work together really well.
